April Alexeev is a long-term resident of Nashville, but over the years, she’s split her time between northern Alabama and Tennessee. She attended Susan Moore high school in AL, then came to TN for a few years, only to return to Alabama to further her education. She obtained her associate degree in applied sciences and paralegal studies at Wallace State Community College and her bachelor’s in liberal studies from Athens State University.
April ultimately decided to plant her roots in the Volunteer State and has resided in south Nashville for the last 10 years. She enjoys the big city vibe that Nashville has to offer while keeping true to the down-home and friendly small-town culture. As a kind, and free-flowing person herself, April feels right at home.
April and her husband, Ivan, enjoy spending time in the outdoors, hiking, or doing just about anything where they can bring their rescue lab/beagle mix, Willie — otherwise known as Wills, Will Sir Puppydoodle, Willster, WillieB, and a slew of other variations. He is their pride and joy, and they never miss an opportunity to include him in daily activities, outings, and family vacations.
April feels the most pride in her work when she’s able to guide a client through a case from start to finish. She enjoys knowing she’s helped a client close a stressful chapter in their life by taking on the brunt of the difficult tasks that could otherwise cause them greater distress. Her heartfelt compassion and diligence make her an excellent member of the MHL team.
