Michelle Hacker

Receptionist & Legal Assistant

Michelle joined the Matt Hardin Law team in June 2019 after being a stay-at-home mom for nearly 10
years. She brings a lot of compassion for people, organizational ideas, and a positive outlook to her
position and life as a whole. Michelle was raised on a farm in northwest Arkansas and has a degree in
psychology from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. (Woo pig!) She has also lived in Los Angeles,
Seattle, and now calls the Nashville area her home.

Michelle hails from a long line of attorneys, police officers, and farmers and understands the true
meaning of hard work and having pride in a job well done. She has worked in the legal profession for
most of her professional life. She has worked as an international paralegal for Walmart, a legal assistant
at a defense law firm, an office assistant at the Arkansas Court of Appeals, and a receptionist at a
prestigious firm in Los Angeles where she introduced everyone to her southern ways.

Michelle loves intellectual pursuits and seeks out new experiences. She rarely turns down a challenge.
Michelle was proficient in Spanish (way) back in college and is currently working to get back up to speed.
Michelle enjoys hanging out with her family, especially if it’s at Disneyland! When it comes to her kids,
she helps out a lot with her sons’ band and choir programs, and cheers on all three of her musical kids.
Her latest pursuit is ballroom dancing. On the rare occasion, she has spare time, she likes to read a
variety of different authors.
