Tabitha Mixon is a Clarksville, Tennessee native and received her undergraduate degree from Austin Peay State University before obtaining a Juris Doctor from Belmont University College of Law. Tabitha was involved in Belmont University College of Law American Inns of Court and Belmont Health Law Student Association. She was a law clerk for Rudy, Wood, Winstead, Williams and Hardin, PLLC and Matt Hardin Law, PLLC throughout law school. While at Austin Peay, Tabitha played NCAA Division 1 softball. She was in the national honor society for her major. She is also an alumna of the fraternity Alpha Omicron Pi. She went to high school in Clarksville where she was a varsity athlete in softball and basketball. She was also part of the school’s national speech and debate team.
Tabitha works on cases for plaintiff personal injury, car accident and tractor trailer wrecks, wrongful death, medical malpractice, nursing home and slip and falls. She joined Matt Hardin Law, PLLC in 2014 as a full-time employee and is currently studying for the upcoming bar exam. Tabitha is a member of the Tennessee Association for Justice.
When not working, Tabitha enjoys college basketball, college baseball, and professional hockey. She also enjoys playing softball for Matt Hardin Law in the Nashville Bar Association Softball League, spending quality time with friends and family, and outdoor adventures with her Mastador, Brody. Brody is a rescue, adopted by Tabitha in 2011 from the Nashville Humane Society. Tabitha is also a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity in Nashville. She most recently participated in Habitat’s 4th annual Women Build, which is a unique partnership of female community leaders, along with companies focused on women as executives and mentors, coming together to sponsor, build, and dedicate a house for a female homeowner.
