Rebekah Lewis joined Matt Hardin Law in 2023. Rebekah is from Thompson Station, TN. She followed in
her parents’ footsteps attending Vanderbilt University for her first three years of college and then
earned her BS from Middle Tennessee State University in Psychology and Paralegal Studies, with an
emphasis on cognitive and research psychology and litigation preparation. She is qualified as a
multidiscipline researcher. Prior to joining Matt Hardin Law, Rebekah specialized as a disability
accommodating tutor and is qualified to modify K-12 classes to accommodate handicapped students
and math and language classes for students with learning disabilities.
Rebekah is passionate about advocating for young adults. She joined the Statewide Young Adult
Leadership Counsel with the Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse in 2018 and serves as a
representative for the TN Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Planning and Policy
committee. She is a public speaker and panelist who talks about resources and policies created to help
young people transition into adult medical spaces. She has spoken on many subjects including, “How to
Foster Young Adult Agency Within Their Own Healthcare Treatment,” “How Experience Creates its Own
Expertise” and, the importance of “No Legislation About Us Without Us.” She is committed to helping
everyone have equal access to the help they need to thrive and brings that energy into her work with us.
Rebekah is a lot of fun and full of energy! She loves pop-up food trucks, underground concerts,
community plays and fashion shows.
